Inner Peace, Joy and Purpose Can Only Be Found In The Present Moment
The source of stress for many people is worrying about the future. On the other side of that coin are people who suffer from anxiety due to regretting past decisions, missteps and mistakes. In either case, you’ll notice that in their forward projected thinking or their reflections of the past, there is no awareness of what is occurring right now.
Are You Rooted In The Present?
For many individuals, this is the root of most of their dissatisfaction. At no point in their lives are they truly experiencing the relationships, activities and interactions they are physically attending to. Their minds are constantly moving to what happens next or what could have been done better in the past. This makes truly being present and drawing the full experience of what is occurring impossible.
It doesn’t matter if it is a killer workout at the gym or a delicious healthy meal. Driving your kids to school or washing the dishes. Taking a walk or simply sitting on the back porch watching a sunset. The Heavenly Bliss of the Divine is available to you if only you completely immerse yourself in, right now.
Conversely, If you aren’t fully focused on and engaging in whatever it is that you are doing, the potential joy that is available to you in that activity can be completely missed. Even the most desirable activities can become drab, uninspiring and unfulfilling if you allow your mind to constantly wander elsewhere. To compound this challenge is the fact that when most people allow their mind to wander it wanders into some very undesirable places. Like the aforementioned regrets, projected future worse case scenarios and thoughts of self-degradation.
It’s time to fully immerse yourself in life and start allowing yourself to fully experience the full potential of joy contained in every experience.
You’ll elevate your likelihood of successfully creating more happiness in your life and multiply your ability to spread your inner joy with others.
